Each week, the trainee should write a short reflection (structured using Brookfield’s framework) which allows them to analyse a critical incident/event which occurred during the week. These reflections demonstrate their developing knowledge and understanding and their learning should be clear to see. Weekly reflections should be available so that tutors and mentors can read them. Key readings will be shared each week and trainees may draw on these concepts when reflecting and writing.
