During Phase 3, trainees are required to complete a range of directed tasks to support them in their development as teachers. The first six of these are essential and must be completed in this phase.
The tasks are:
1) Understanding the school’s context and curriculum
2) ‘Me Through 5 Books’ – reading for pleasure task
5) Engagement with wider school life
6) Bringing UK Parliament into the classroom
7) Teaching a sequence of PE lessons ( if not completed in P2)
8) Teaching a sequence of phonics lessons (if not completed in P1 or P2)
9) Observing expert colleagues (English, mathematics, phonics) in response to your personal targets
