Wellbeing

In this section, you will find a range of resources to support trainee’s well-being and where they can access help and support. Many of the resources are also applicable to mentors too.

Promotion of wellbeing and resilience is a priority in many schools. Everyone at some point in their lives experiences a disruption to their equilibrium, the better prepared you are to cope the faster you will recover.

It is important help is sought when initially needed. One of the most common causes of student distress is when problems are left unaddressed. Your personal tutor is a source of support and will be able to signpost you to resources and services that can help you.
